Questionmark Dishes Up Results for Cheesecake Factory

The Cheesecake Factory, a California-based chain operating more than 93 restaurants and a 45,000 sq. ft. bakery with about 22,000 employees, needed to standardize training and certification amid high industry turnover. To ensure consistent, accurate assessment for hourly staff and over 1,000 managers (and up to 500 new managers a year), the Cheesecake Factory adopted Questionmark’s computerized assessment tool to replace much of its paper-based quizzing.

Questionmark delivered an online quizzing platform with a shared question bank integrated to the company intranet and internal database, replacing manual scoring and paper processes. The solution produced fair, accurate scoring, immediate quiz updates for menu changes, weekly intranet progress reports, and significant time savings for managers; it now supports high‑stakes manager certification and ongoing development programs and is being extended to staff surveys—streamlining test maintenance, improving tracking, and boosting training consistency.
