Public utility streamlines learning and assessment with SAP and Questionmark

Nebraska Public Power District, the largest utility in the state serving 91 of 93 counties and 2,200 employees, needed rigorous, centrally managed training and assessments to meet strict regulatory and safety requirements. Already using SAP Learning Solution, NPPD sought a best‑in‑class exam system to consolidate question banks, expand authoring and question types, and improve test security — and chose Questionmark (using the Questionmark SAP Connector and QuestionmarkSecure) to address those needs.

Questionmark integrated with SAP Learning Solution to schedule, deliver and pass assessment results back to SAP, offering browser‑based authoring, more than 20 question types, printing/scanning for paper exams, and desktop lockdown for proctored tests. The solution consolidated all exam banks, gave learners a single portal for training and qualifications, enabled management of assessments for 2,200 employees (including 800 at the nuclear facility), eliminated much paper processing, retired a third‑party survey system, and centralized long‑term record keeping.
