Pegasystems Certifies Software Specialists Using Questionmark

Pegasystems, a provider of business process management software, needed a reliable way to certify both customers and its sales force on proprietary products. To expedite creation and administration of computerized assessments while ensuring security for high‑stakes exams and flexibility for remote, low‑stakes sales tests, Pegasystems turned to Questionmark’s assessment platform.

Using Questionmark, Pegasystems built exams that leverage Macromedia Flash, drag‑and‑drop items and standard formats, and found the Wizard made it possible to set up a baseline exam “within a day.” Customer certifications are delivered in proctored settings (90 minutes for 70 questions, secure logins) while sales certifications run remotely on Questionmark’s server; test takers report an easy interface, Pegasystems reports satisfactory remote delivery, and the company is expanding its use of Questionmark.
