Lucent Technologies meets new industry standards with Questionmark

Lucent Technologies needed a reliable way to meet the TL9000 industry standard by testing and proving the competency of its operators and technicians. To address this, Lucent implemented Questionmark's assessment software and test applications to build the company’s assessment processes for TL9000 compliance.

Questionmark delivered a solution that begins with a 20-question multiple-choice assessment, followed by supervised demonstrable-skills checks that produce grades and pass rates; the software has also been used for employee surveys and will be expanded to post-training evaluations. Questionmark’s tools proved efficient and intuitive, were implemented in a matter of months without consultants, integrated with existing systems, and provided measurable outcomes (verified competencies and documented pass-rate metrics) to support Lucent’s TL9000 compliance.
