Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - Customer Case Study

Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center needed a way to test 175 medical students on high-quality color images, videos and interactive content without the prohibitive cost and logistics of color printing, copying and shredding multiple paper exams. To address this, course director Giovanni D. Lorusso and the school standardized student laptops and selected Questionmark’s computerized testing software and browser to deliver exams.

Using Questionmark, LSU delivers synchronized exams to all 175 students that include high‑resolution images, video, Flash animations and drag‑and‑drop items, plus automated scoring for fill‑in responses. Questionmark also enables randomized question and answer ordering (effectively 175 unique tests), which greatly improves security, cuts the enormous duplicating and shredding costs, speeds grading, and better prepares students for computerized national board exams.
