The International University of Languages and Media (IULM), a Milan-based university serving about 5,000 students, needed a more scalable, secure and reportable assessment platform as it grew. Having used Questionmark’s on‑premise Assessment Management System since 2007, IULM in August 2016 moved to Questionmark OnDemand, Questionmark’s next‑generation SaaS assessment management system, to address challenges around large-scale delivery, security, reporting and multilingual needs.
Questionmark implemented OnDemand with advanced authoring (multimedia items and simple meta‑tagging), Save‑as‑you‑go, single sign‑on and multilingual delivery, allowing reliable delivery to full classes rather than small staggered groups of 5–10. As a result, IULM achieved more efficient item‑bank management, smoother large‑scale test delivery, improved student comfort and confidence, and reduced administrative overhead—benefits IULM credits directly to Questionmark and its OnDemand platform.
