Case Study: Liebert achieves scalable, reliable technician certification with Questionmark

A Questionmark Case Study

Preview of the Liebert Case Study

Evaluations and certification testing at Liebert Corporation

Liebert Corporation, based in Columbus, Ohio, manufactures power and environmental control systems and needed to ensure its 360 UPS field technicians were fully qualified to service those critical products. Testing was central to training, and after using pencil‑and‑paper exams the company adopted Questionmark — using Questionmark’s authoring tools and hosting services — to deliver quizzes, final exams and formal product certifications.

Questionmark delivered an authoring system with metatagging and a hosted test environment that scaled to Liebert’s needs: Cousino manages an item bank of about 1,300 certification questions, runs 60–90‑item certification exams, and conducts Level 1 and Level 2 evaluations. The solution sped test creation and review, supports simultaneous test‑takers via hosting (reducing internal IT burden), ties certification to technician promotion, and has “scaled up nicely,” becoming the cornerstone of Liebert’s training validation.
