Cloud-based assessments simplify child welfare agency training

Spaulding for Children, a nonprofit child welfare agency that places and trains adoptive and foster families, faced slow, paper-based evaluation processes that took weeks to process and made timely follow-up difficult—especially with more than 800 affiliated trainers. To modernize evaluations and speed feedback, the agency turned to Questionmark for online course and instructor assessments and later moved to the cloud-based Questionmark OnDemand service.

Questionmark implemented a SaaS assessment platform (Questionmark OnDemand) with automatic updates and an SSAE 16–audited data center, enabling scenario-based, short-essay and fill-in-the-blank questions and instant post-webinar surveys. As a result, Spaulding for Children now delivers quiz and instructor results in seconds or shortly after completion instead of weeks, gains rapid, actionable feedback for continual program improvement, and has freed staff from server maintenance to focus on training.
