Universidad Panamericana (UP) strengthens its cybersecurity and streamlines endpoint management with KACE

Universidad Panamericana (UP) is a leading Mexican university with four campuses, 16,500+ students and 5,500+ employees. Its 45‑person Digital Services team struggled under a heavy workload managing thousands of end‑user devices across campuses—keeping systems and drivers up to date, deploying patches, preventing unauthorized software and maintaining accurate software‑license inventories to reduce cybersecurity risk.

To address this, UP implemented Quest’s KACE Systems Management Appliance with support from EXITE IT, gaining centralized, cross‑platform (Windows, macOS, Linux) device monitoring, automated patch deployment, software inventory and license management, and script distribution. The result: faster updates (what once took weeks for 200+ PCs now completes much quicker), improved visibility and control, fewer cybersecurity incidents, automated compliance with licensing, and more time for strategic initiatives.
