A Quest Case Study
Seminole County Public Schools, a large Florida district serving 66,000 students and 8,000 staff, needed to enable a digital curriculum while efficiently managing 30,000 desktops and laptops on a tight budget. Its existing tools gave incomplete asset visibility, poor patch/update management, an antiquated helpdesk and inconsistent imaging, creating security risks and support bottlenecks.
By deploying KACE Systems Management and Deployment appliances to replace three separate systems, the district gained unified inventory, an integrated service desk and standardized imaging—allowing easy district-wide deployments, timely updates and efficient handling of 200–300 daily tickets. The solution improved security and availability, reduced space and energy needs, and saved the district more than $100,000 over three years.
