Imerys, a global minerals company with operations in 50 countries and more than 16,000 employees, needed to rapidly integrate an acquired company that used Office 365 into its existing IBM Notes environment. The IT team required fast, seamless coexistence—delivering imerys.com email addresses and cross-platform collaboration—on a tight four-week timeline while also establishing a long-term approach to support future acquisitions.

Working with partner InfraScience, Imerys deployed Quest’s Coexistence Manager for Notes to enable a unified address book, free/busy lookup and calendar sharing across Notes and Office 365 with no disruption to users. The project met the deadline, preserved the user experience, included knowledge transfer and support, and positioned Imerys to quickly onboard and collaborate with future acquisitions.
