Case Study: Green Clinic achieves faster EMR access and $20K deployment savings with Quest KACE systems management

A Quest Case Study

Preview of the Green Clinic Case Study

Enhancing compliance and care with highly available IT

Green Clinic Health System, a 450‑employee US healthcare provider, needed to support a new electronic medical records (EMR) system but found its aging desktops lacked the performance and manageability required. Deployment was complicated when a vendor delivered 155 laptops with the wrong configuration, and IT spent excessive time traveling to eight satellite sites to fix machines and keep systems secure.

Green Clinic deployed KACE systems deployment and management appliances and a Dell VDI to image, configure and centrally manage physical and virtual desktops. The KACE SDA enabled all 155 laptops to be imaged and deployed in one day, cutting initial EMR deployment costs by about $20,000 and saving 80 hours of overtime; ongoing automation saves IT roughly 20 hours per week, speeds application performance for clinical staff, reduces after‑hours work for nurses, and improves access to patient records.
