Domino’s Pizza UK keeps orders flowing with SQL Server monitoring

Domino’s Pizza UK, the leading pizza brand in the UK and Ireland with over 1,200 stores, 35,000 employees and 106 million pizzas sold annually, runs a primarily SQL Server environment across more than 10 instances. The team relied on an internally built, per-server monitoring tool that was costly to maintain and could only store limited historical data, making it hard to detect and resolve database problems quickly and risking disruption to customer orders and operations.

The company moved from its in-house tool to Quest Spotlight and then to Spotlight Cloud, and uses Quest LiteSpeed for faster, compressed and encrypted backups.
