BAM, a UK-based construction and facilities services firm with about 17,000 employees, faced an IT complexity from growth and acquisitions: six separate Active Directory domains synced to one Microsoft 365 tenant. That fragmented identity landscape blocked modern workplace initiatives, complicated administration and increased cybersecurity risk.

Using On Demand Migration by Quest and co-developing remote migration processes with Quest experts, BAM consolidated the six AD domains into a single directory and migrated roughly 6,000 users with minimal disruption (only ~5% required follow-up). The project preserved access to Microsoft Office apps via tenant re-sync, strengthened security, boosted productivity and significantly streamlined IT administration.
