Case Study: Voith achieves unified global sustainability control and €12M+ annual resource savings with Quentic

A Quentic Case Study

Preview of the Voith Case Study

Unified Control of Sustainability

Voith, a global technology and mechanical engineering company, faced decentralized environmental and resource data across multiple systems and needed a reliable, standards-based reporting and controlling solution. To unify sustainability and EHS processes, Voith began using Quentic’s EHS and CSR software in 2011, deploying modules such as Sustainability, Environmental Management, Hazardous Materials, Risks & Audits, and Legal Compliance.

Quentic implemented a centralized, group-wide system—rolled out across locations within months—that created a worldwide hazardous materials register, automated plausibility checks and approvals, versioning, and instant KPI generation and visualization. The solution streamlined data entry and reporting (aligned with GRI/DNK), enabled flexible evaluations with automatic currency/unit conversions, and helped Voith reduce effort for recording and verification while contributing to more than EUR 12 million per year saved in energy, water and waste since fiscal year 2011/12.
