Case Study: DMK Group (Deutsches Milchkontor GmbH) achieves safe, centralized hazardous-substance management with Quentic

A Quentic Case Study

Preview of the DMK Group Case Study

Dmk Deutsches Milchkontor Gmbh Safe Management of Hazardous Substances

DMK Group, Germany’s largest dairy with 26 sites, faced a fragmented hazardous-substance landscape after a merger: each plant kept separate, incompatible Excel registers and needed to update documentation for new regulations. To centralize and standardize hazardous-material management the company adopted Quentic’s online solution (Hazardous Materials module) across the organization.

Quentic implemented a central hazardous-substances register, importing data from 280 suppliers and about 1,900 substances and today centrally managing roughly 3,500 materials and over 9,000 documents with a role-based authorization model (two admins, ~900 readers). The Quentic rollout cut manual work—about one hour saved per instruction document for local officers—improved legal security, streamlined audits, and supports DMK Group’s ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 certification efforts.
