Carbon footprints at the touch of a button Digital and efficient global KPI calculations

Dussmann Group, an international multi‑service provider operating in 21 countries, needed to calculate carbon footprints for all company divisions and services and to record and analyze 77 indicators with data input from 376 staff worldwide — a scale that Excel spreadsheets could no longer handle. To centralize and standardize its sustainability reporting, the Dussmann Group’s QHSE team adopted Quentic’s cloud‑based QHSE/ESG solution, using modules such as Quentic Sustainability and Quentic Analytics.

Quentic replaced scattered spreadsheets with a validated, centralized database, document uploads, live dashboards and mobile access via the Quentic App, enabling real‑time monitoring and rapid intervention on anomalies. The system calculates the Group’s Scope 1 and 2 carbon footprint in line with the GHG Protocol, supports KPI visualization and target setting, and allowed Dussmann to record indicators and calculate KPIs for all business divisions within three months (including training and consultation), materially improving data quality and reporting speed.
