Sunbelt Rentals worked with QueBIT to replace a labor-intensive, inconsistent Excel-based monthly reporting process that depended on manual data pulls, SSAS cubes, and significant finance team effort. The company needed a more reliable way to produce timely financial statements and distribute them to more than 1,300 managers.

QueBIT implemented IBM Planning Analytics and its ReportWORQ distribution tool to create a customized financial reporting model and automate report delivery. The new solution provides a single version of the truth, personalized report packages, and automated email distribution, reducing monthly report distribution from about 60 hours of work to less than 10 minutes while improving accuracy, scalability, and access to reports in PDF, Excel, and TM1Web.
