Laddaw achieves big fuel savings with the Quartix system

Laddaw, part of Belron UK (the group that trades as Autoglass), operates a 78-vehicle fleet serving vehicle glass specialists across the UK and Ireland. Facing rising fuel costs and concerns about driving behaviour, unauthorised vehicle use and workforce safety, the company sought a simple, cost-effective way to monitor vehicles and cut operating expenses.

Laddaw installed the Quartix real-time vehicle tracking system across its fleet in January 2012, chosen for its transparent pricing, no long-term contract and easy deployment. The system delivered an 8% reduction in fuel consumption, reduced speeding, eliminated unauthorised use, improved health and safety, and produced fuel savings at 15 of Laddaw’s 17 sites, with managers praising the clarity of reports and smooth installation.
