East Surrey Rural Transport Partnership - Customer Case Study

East Surrey Rural Transport Partnership (ESRTP) is a charity that coordinates community transport across East Surrey—employing 62 people and operating 47 minibuses—to help rural residents access health services, work and training (including Buses 4U, MiDAS and PATS). ESRTP needed better real-time oversight of its diverse fleet to provide accurate live location updates to service users, improve safety and driver oversight, simplify overtime claims, and reduce perceived risk and insurance and operating costs.

ESRTP installed the Quartix vehicle-tracking system (recommended by a neighbouring council) with optional Nextbase dash cams; installation was smooth across its varied vehicle types. Quartix delivered live tracking, simplified overtime reporting and performance reports that encouraged safer driving, which reduced fuel use and vehicle wear, sped up issue detection and improved customer service and passenger/staff protection.
