Affordable Windows and Conservatory Group (AWCG) is Lancashire’s largest UPVC windows and doors manufacturer, operating from three sites with around £20m turnover. Rapid growth left its transport operation “erratic,” making it hard for staff to locate vehicles quickly to answer customer delivery queries and manage dispatch efficiently.

AWCG installed Quartix telematics on 18 7.5t DAF trucks, including in‑cab cameras, giving 24/7, company‑wide visibility of vehicle location and routes. The system cut phone traffic, enabled faster diversions to the nearest driver, reduced journey times and fuel costs, and supplied camera evidence to deter fraud — benefits AWCG plans to extend as its fleet grows.
