How Summit Sports Grew Amazon Advertising Revenue Exponentially

Summit Sports, the parent company of several sporting-goods brands selling on Amazon, needed a simple, fast, and automated way to manage over 25,000 SKUs and the sharp seasonal peaks and valleys of products like kayaks, skis, and backpacking gear. To solve this, Summit Sports partnered with Quartile and adopted Quartile’s Amazon Advertising solution powered by its A.I. technology and dedicated account management (Quartile had previously managed the retailer’s Google Shopping campaigns).

Quartile implemented dynamic, product-level campaigns with analyst-defined Advertising Cost of Sale (ACoS) buckets that adapt by margin and seasonality, enabling rapid strategy shifts across categories in a day or two. The result: consistent, measurable growth across managed brands—including a 39% increase in ACK orders and 160% increase in ACK revenue period over period, plus 7% and 8% order/revenue gains for Snow Sport Deals—demonstrating Quartile’s ability to hit targets and drive substantial Amazon advertising revenue.
