L’APPART is a French luxury monthly (founded by Lydie and Julien Madonna) that reaches 750,000 readers worldwide with stories on property, hotels, watches, design and automobiles. The team needed to extend beyond print to a high-quality, interactive iPad app (not a static PDF), support changing monthly layouts and eight languages, and bring app creation in-house using familiar, easy-to-use design tools.

By adopting QuarkXPress with App Studio and training teams in under a month, L’APPART now produces static and richly interactive app editions—featuring video, audio, slideshows, 360° views, geolocation, online reservations and test-drive bookings—and publishes in eight languages. The in-house workflow generates the app from the final print version in less than a day, saving time and allowing the team to focus more on creative and editorial content.
