Facing intense competition, limited visibility into customer behavior, and difficulty assessing store potential and expansion targets, the retailer needed better insights beyond POS transaction data.
Quantzig implemented a retail location analytics solution in three phases: analyzing customer behavior, building in-store heat maps to track traffic patterns, and integrating location data with transactional datasets. This helped the retailer identify redesign opportunities and understand conversion, traffic, and average transaction value drivers, ultimately delivering about 25% additional revenue from the DIY category.
