Bass Pro Shops worked with Quantum Metric to address a high bounce rate on its ecommerce site, especially from Google search traffic. The retailer found that shoppers were often landing on product pages for out-of-stock items, creating a poor experience and lost sales opportunities.
Using Quantum Metric’s analytics, session replay, and journey insights, Bass Pro Shops tested a new flow that intercepted these shoppers and presented a “Shop Similar Items” modal to direct them to substitute products. The A/B test delivered an 8% increase in conversion rate, reduced shopper churn, and contributed to millions in incremental annual revenue.
