Miami HEAT unlocks 120 GB/sec content access with Quantum

The Miami HEAT's creative services group required a new, high-performance storage and asset management system to replace a rigid legacy platform. Their challenge was to support simultaneous content production for multiple destinations across several departments and applications. To solve this, they worked with systems integrator IMT to implement a solution centered on Quantum storage and software.

Quantum implemented a multi-tier storage environment using the StorNext file system with QXS-Series and F-Series storage for primary work, alongside ActiveScale object storage for archive. They integrated CatDV for asset management, which was connected to NBA stats data via Stats Injector. This Quantum solution delivered 120 GB/sec aggregate throughput for 60 users, provided workflow flexibility across multiple applications, and ensured scalable, long-term content access.
