Complex Networks, a digital media leader focused on youth culture, faced storage challenges as it transitioned from print to all-digital operations. Their legacy network-attached storage could not handle high-resolution video, forcing editors to use external drives and hurting productivity. To support its growth, the company turned to vendor Quantum for a StorNext-based solution.

Quantum implemented a high-performance Xcellis workflow storage system with QXS hybrid RAID arrays. This solution provided a shared storage environment that allowed editors direct access to work on full native 4K content, eliminating the need for external drives and greatly improving collaboration and efficiency. As a result, Complex Networks is planning a second installation and looking to expand its archiving capabilities with Quantum.
