Archer Education, a performance marketing agency managing paid search for more than 20 universities, faced high and rising cost-per-lead (CPL) from competitive degree-related keywords and needed to drive high-quality inquiries and enrollments more efficiently. To address this, Archer partnered with QuanticMind and adopted its bid optimization platform and managed services to improve paid search performance.
QuanticMind helped Archer implement robust campaign segmentation, granular audience targeting, separate brand and non-brand bid policies, and bid automation (including area-of-study and in-state vs. out-of-state targeting) to set CPL targets and prioritize profitable volume. The work produced a 19% average reduction in CPL across six universities while increasing traffic and lead volume, and a subsequent onboarding of 16 more universities delivered an additional 10% CPL reduction—results Archer attributes to QuanticMind’s platform and support.
