Visit North Carolina, the state’s travel guide site with trip ideas, travel essentials and things to do, needed to boost interest in local attractions among both in-state and out-of-state audiences. Success was measured by arrivals to the site using Arrivalist metrics, focusing on cost per arrival (CPA) and arrivals per thousand (APM).
Using Quantcast’s prospecting audience tool to identify travel intent signals (like engagement with restaurant and attraction pages), Visit NC reached prospective visitors early in their journey. The campaign delivered strong results: Quantcast became the top-performing partner, driving a 35% lower CPA, 11.5x more APM, a $8 CPA, and a 37% lower bounce rate versus the second-best DSP.
