Sportsbet, a leading online bookmaker competing with operators like William Hill and Ladbrokes, needed to reach its core audience—males 18+ interested in AFL, NRL and horse racing—via mobile video to match their media consumption. Partnering with Quantcast, Sportsbet used Quantcast’s first-party dataset covering 20 million Australians to scale targeted mobile video ads to the most receptive audiences. The campaign exceeded demographic goals while cutting costs—delivering completed video views at 50% below target cost and outperforming the Nielsen DAR in-target benchmark by 41%.
