TourismOhio, working with agency Marcus Thomas, set out to position Ohio as a destination of choice by revamping DiscoverOhio.com to showcase diverse travel experiences by lifestyle. They needed a digital partner to extend that lifestyle segmentation and deliver targeted messaging across desktop, mobile and tablet to grow awareness and drive qualified traffic to the site.
Quantcast implemented a campaign using Search Powered Audiences to reach segments like Culture Buffs, Family-Focused Trippers, Nature Lovers, Thrill Seekers, City Lovers, Foodies and Event Goers, combined with geo-targeting focused on Ohio and nearby metro areas and tailored creative for each audience. The campaign increased time on site by 11% and pages viewed per visit by 49%.
