A Quantcast Case Study
The African Wildlife Foundation, a leading international conservation organization focused on protecting Africa’s wildlife and wildlands, needed to drive year‑end donations and improve donor retention—especially among loyal supporters who had previously given only offline. After a successful Quantcast campaign in fall 2016, AWF and fundraising partner Sanky Communications re-engaged Quantcast for the 2017 holiday season to reach and re‑activate these audiences.
Quantcast used Conversion Targeting in 2016 and, in 2017, onboarded AWF’s CRM via LiveRamp to target past online and offline donors with ads coordinated alongside other digital and print solicitations. The campaigns increased donations and delivered strong returns on ad spend: 257% ROAS in 2016 and 304% ROAS in 2017, more than doubling the organization’s ROAS goal.
