Accor Hotels, a global hospitality leader with over 5,300 properties (including Fairmont, Sofitel and Novotel), faced steep declines in bookings after COVID lockdowns and paused media for a year. As travel reopened, Accor partnered with Mastercard on phased offers like “pay now, stay later” and bundled “Perfect Escape” deals, and needed a media partner to find high-value audiences, drive direct bookings, and validate results against CPA and ROAS goals.

Using the Quantcast Platform, Accor targeted refined personas—affluent travelers, YOLO adventurers, and nature lovers—overlaying booking and passback data to hone converters and applying mid-campaign intelligence to optimize spend. The approach delivered a 16x return on ad spend, became Accor’s top-performing partner and established a new CPA benchmark for the brand.
