Dr.Max - Customer Case Study

Dr.Max Slovakia, the country’s largest pharmacy chain with more than 200 stores, faced the absence of a capable category management system and needed a centralized, multiuser solution for space, stock and display management. After a Quant pilot in the Czech Republic, Dr.Max chose Quant Retail’s Quant platform (setup begun in Autumn 2013) to deliver real floor planning, web-accessible planograms, and store‑specific, sales‑based planogram calculations to replace their inadequate prior system.

Quant Retail implemented the cloud-based Quant solution with nightly FTP imports from existing BI systems into a central database, CAD-capable floor planning, store-specific space-to-sales calculations, multi-user planogram creation, web downloads in stores, chat-based communication, Life Cycle Management and automatic publishing/implementation tracking. The platform drove rapid user adoption after short training, eliminated manual PDF FTP distribution, enabled one‑click analytics and exportable reports, and provided implementation timestamps and sales-linked planograms that allow Dr.Max to improve turnover and reduce lost sales from incorrect stock — with measurable data capture for ongoing analysis by Quant Retail.
