Bio Company - Customer Case Study

Bio Company is an organic food retailer with around 60 stores (average 550 m², up to ~8,000 SKUs in large stores) that had relied on Excel, photos and sample racks and needed a professional category- and space-planning tool to reflect diverse store formats, connect stores and suppliers, and improve merchandising. After evaluating vendors they selected Quant Retail’s planogram/space‑planning solution (Quant) at the end of 2016 and began rolling it out, publishing their first planograms to stores in January 2018.

Quant Retail implemented a flexible planogram system with interfaces to Bio Company’s ERP and DataNatuRe for daily product images and dimensions, allowing individual shelf- and store-specific planograms, easier implementation in stores, and exports to merchandise systems for ordering. The solution shortened new-store setup (saving about three working days in-store and two days for ordering), improved shelf visibility and execution, and contributed to increased customer conversions and category sales; support from Quant Retail was also reported as fast and helpful.
