Media Group Ukraine, one of the country’s largest media holdings with around 1,500 employees, needed to protect its broadcast networks, web portals and web-facing financial systems from constant attack. With subsidiaries using diverse IT stacks and rapid company growth, the business faced rising administrative overhead and the risk of data breaches that could damage client trust and its reputation.

The company deployed the Qualys Cloud Platform (SaaS) with partner Betta Security to provide continuous scanning of ~250 endpoints, prioritize critical vulnerabilities, visualize network topology and perform static code analysis. The platform improved Windows coverage, discovered unknown hosts, sped up remediation and automated reporting—cutting IT time spent on security by 80%—while strengthening protection of client data and giving a scalable path to add capabilities like web application scanning.
