EPAM Systems, a global digital engineering company, needed a more efficient way to secure a rapidly expanding hybrid and multi-cloud environment spanning more than 50,000 endpoints. The company was looking for a simpler, lighter alternative to its previous vulnerability scanning approach, and turned to Qualys for vulnerability management and cloud security support.

Qualys implemented Cloud Agents, Vulnerability Management, Threat Protection, Continuous Monitoring, Cloud View, and Container Security to automate security across EPAM’s infrastructure. The solution helped EPAM gain ranked vulnerability insights, real-time alerts, and automated compliance workflows that create JIRA tickets for remediation, while protecting 240 AWS accounts, 120 Google Cloud accounts, 180 Azure accounts, and about 2,000 active containers.
