Cembra Builds a Cutting-Edge Security Operations Centre to Protect Digital Banking Services

Cembra, a leading Swiss financial services provider, needed to strengthen information security for its digital banking channels as it prepared for further mobile banking enhancements and a future move to container platforms. To support its regulatory obligations and internal policies, Cembra turned to Qualys, using Qualys Vulnerability Management and later Qualys VMDR as part of the Enterprise TruRisk Platform.

Qualys helped Cembra build a hybrid Security Operations Centre with better threat insight, allowing the team to identify, categorize, prioritize, and respond to risks more effectively. The bank reported strong satisfaction with the accuracy of Qualys’ reports and said the platform helped enrich its security data with risk insights, measure policy effectiveness, inform the security board, and improve hardening efforts.
