CASDEN Takes Targeted Action Against Growing Security Threats

CASDEN Banque Populaire, the French co‑operative bank serving public‑sector employees, faced rising digital risks as it expanded online services and social media presence. With mission‑critical systems and customer data at stake, the bank needed to better target and mitigate known vulnerabilities and neutralise potential threats after finding an earlier Qualys purchase had never been fully deployed.

CASDEN implemented Qualys Vulnerability Management and Web Application Scanning to run monthly and ad‑hoc scans across hundreds of servers and web apps (including third‑party SaaS). The cloud‑based, non‑intrusive solution gave clear, prioritised reports and strong local support, enabling faster remediation, more efficient use of resources and greater management visibility. As a result CASDEN reports dramatically fewer vulnerabilities in monthly scans—about 1/1,000 of initial totals—improving security posture and helping prevent potential attacks.
