A Qualys Case Study
Brinks France, the 6,000‑employee French arm of global security firm Brinks, needed to comply with strict, centralized security audit standards from headquarters despite having a much larger infrastructure than other subsidiaries. Previously reactive and using internal open‑source tools, the team was often singled out for high absolute vulnerability counts and faced uniform remediation deadlines and complex SOX-related procedures.
They deployed Qualys Vulnerability Management and Policy Compliance (SaaS)—the same solution used by headquarters and recognized by external auditors—for fast, automated scans, external validation and integrated ticketing. As a result Brinks France eliminated external critical vulnerabilities (levels 3–5), shifted to proactive asset management, streamlined remediation and reporting for audits, and established an auditable archive and tagging approach to support ongoing SOX compliance and more flexible remediation planning.
