Astelit Dials into a New, Powerful Vulnerability Management Service

Astelit (life:)), one of Ukraine’s leading GSM operators serving 8.7 million subscribers and covering over 96% of the population, faced an insecure and non-repeatable vulnerability process. The company relied on periodic open‑source scanners and lacked a centralized, measurable vulnerability management program needed to protect 140 servers and 32 network devices and to meet regulatory compliance requirements.

Astelit implemented QualysGuard Vulnerability Management (SaaS) to gain continuous asset discovery, prioritization, vulnerability assessment, remediation tracking and clear reporting. The service helped harden Internet‑facing apps and the internal network, extended coverage to critical edge devices, simplified compliance proof for auditors, and reduced the labor and infrastructure burden of managing vulnerabilities.
