GreatSchools, a 20‑year‑old U.S. nonprofit that publishes school ratings and a vast education database, needed a cost‑effective way to gather fast, representative feedback from its diverse audience of parents, community leaders, and policymakers. With limited resources for in‑person research, the organization turned to Qualaroo’s on‑site feedback/insights tool to supplement field research and measure user sentiment across its site.
Using Qualaroo on every webpage, GreatSchools ran targeted surveys (including NPS) to understand goals, pain points, and demographics, recruiting participants for deeper studies and spotting bugs or confusing content. Qualaroo reaches about 15,000 GreatSchools visitors daily; in under a year the team collected 20,000 responses and has run more than 140 insights studies over five years, producing actionable insights that inform product decisions and reporting to funders.
