Dean Foods Corporation, the largest dairy processor in the United States, needed an automated fax and forms solution for its Southwest Region in 2000. The team was handling a weekly workload of 100 invoices, 200 sales order acknowledgements, and 30 purchase orders from JD Edwards World, and wanted a system that would integrate directly with its software and stay within budget.

Dean Foods chose Quadrant Software’s Formtastic and FastFax to create, distribute, and fax customized purchase orders, sales order acknowledgements, invoices, work orders, and quotes. Quadrant Software’s FastFax World Integration Module let end users send documents from World screens without additional training, and Dean Foods said the solution improved presentation, reduced manual faxing and errors, and eliminated the need for special paper or preprinted forms.
