Peruvian Connection, a luxury fiber apparel marketer founded in 1976, needed a better way to manage the paperwork behind its global direct marketing operation. The company processes approximately 1,200 orders per day and sends thousands of customer mailings each week, but its earlier order management and dot-matrix form process made it difficult for end users to access data and create professional, flexible forms.
Quadrant Software provided Formtastic and Formatter to work with CommercialWare on the System i platform. Peruvian Connection said installation was easy and training was strong, and the new setup cut invoice production time from about 2.5 to 3.5 hours for 500 invoices to about 10 minutes, while reducing the cost to produce 1,000 US invoices from $108.20 to $69.42 and generating annual savings of over $6,000.
