Prince Castle, a manufacturer of commercial food service equipment, needed a way to streamline mission-critical document handling while supporting quick shipments, on-time delivery, and competitive pricing across eight product lines and more than 500 product models. The company wanted an enterprise faxing solution that would integrate with BPCS and also let users deliver documents by email, after its existing fax setup could no longer support its productivity and cost goals.

Prince Castle selected Quadrant Software’s FastFax/Enterprise, along with the Acrobat PDF module, to send documents by fax and email directly from BPCS without leaving the application. The system quickly improved workflow across customer service, purchasing, credit, and accounts payable, and Mike Nichols estimated it avoided 30,000 trips to the fax machine in one year. Prince Castle also faxes over 3,000 business documents per month, and Quadrant Software’s email delivery option reduced phone costs while improving document security and giving 50 human resources and purchasing users inbound fax delivery through Microsoft Outlook.
