Adventist Health Systems and Quadrant Software Make A Great Team

Adventist Health System, through its information management company Sunbelt Systems Concepts (SSCI), needed a flexible enterprise fax solution that could do least cost routing across its WAN. After a yearlong evaluation of fax products in 1996, SSCI replaced a competing product and chose Quadrant Software’s FastFax to support faxing from its mission critical hospital information system.

Quadrant Software implemented FastFax across SSCI’s two IBM i systems in Winter Park, Florida, which are connected to 12 processors around the US. The company now sends over 1200 faxes a day, including patient face sheets, patient transcripts, admission/discharge notices, laboratory orders, insurance verification notices and purchase orders, and SSCI reported outstanding support from Quadrant Software.
