A Quadient AR Case Study

Preview of the CorneaGen Case Study

CorneaGen sees clear improvements in AR processes by using Quadient AR

CorneaGen, a mission-driven cornea care company based in Seattle, was struggling with poor AR practices, manual processes and the effects of the global crisis that left collections severely behind and put cash flow at risk. To address mounting issues—DSO averaging 73–78 days, $1.5M in invoices over 150 days, and $5.5M past due—CorneaGen turned to Quadient AR for accounts-receivable automation integrated with its NetSuite ERP.

Quadient AR implemented cloud-based dashboards, intelligent workflows, digital payments and a self-service portal, centralizing AR data and eliminating manual reconciliation. As a result, billing efficiency improved 87% (billing time cut from 20 to 2.5 hours/week), DSO fell ≈50% (from 78 to 38 days), past-due invoices dropped from $5.5M to $2.1M, invoices >150 days fell from $1.5M to $62K, and write-offs due to customer non-response decreased 70%—significantly improving working capital and customer experience.
