Online Computing, a Nashville-based ERP software solutions company, sought to enhance the BI reporting capabilities of its flagship product, MasterTools. Their challenge was to find a reporting solution from a vendor that could be easily integrated and provide their customers with flexible, customizable reporting and dashboard functionality without being overwhelming. They turned to Quadbase Systems for a solution.

Quadbase Systems implemented its EspressReport Enterprise Server (ERES), which was tightly integrated into the MasterTools application. This allowed users to run reports with familiar selection criteria while a backend program dynamically generated the required output. The solution was a success; after just over two years, Online Computing has implemented over 600 pre-defined reports and charts using ERES and is able to effectively assist its customers in developing their own custom reports and dashboards.
