IQ Business Group - Customer Case Study

The U.S. Department of the Interior engaged IQ Business Group (IQBG) to deliver an enterprise-wide records and document management system capable of meeting federal mandates, policy requirements and legal obligations. The solution had to support discovery and investigations for lawyers, FOIA and records officers, ethics and congressional requests, and cybercrime teams, while managing the records, daily email traffic and content of 120,000 employees—about 62 million emails per month.

IQBG developed a cloud-based Enterprise Content and Records Management (ECRM) solution and partnered with QTS for secure, scalable hosting, eliminating the need for DOI to maintain its own infrastructure. QTS provisioned the ECRM environment in 44 days, enabling DOI to be the first Cabinet-level agency to move records management to the cloud; the platform has continued to evolve under the ongoing IQBG–QTS engagement, which has expanded to include additional projects.
