Case Study: Accelera Solutions wins NATO Seasparrow contract and delivers a secure, scalable hybrid cloud with QTS Realty Trust

Accelera Solutions, partnered with QTS, was awarded a $3.1M multinational contract to modernize NATO’s 44-year Seasparrow program. The program needed to replace a legacy, on-premises IT environment with a scalable, secure platform that supports continuity of operations, enables worldwide access, and meets stringent purpose-built security, continuous monitoring, and certification requirements.

QTS and Accelera delivered a hybrid cloud based on Accelera’s Secure Optimized Cloud and hosted in QTS’ Vault campus, built to FISMA/NIST 800-53 Moderate controls. QTS provided the IaaS, network and systems management so Accelera could focus on application and security assessment tasks. The solution met NATO’s security and accreditation needs, improved performance and global access, and was instrumental in winning the Seasparrow award.
